I got to hang out with these cool peoples. Basically, I love these peoples. They are my friends. And they love me more than they love my sister. I hung out with them at the beginning of August. I love playing with bubbles.

Adventures When Walking

26 Jul

This is just a cow friend we made. I took my dog, Kaiser, on a walk with us... and he found seven squirrels, five rabbits, a gagillion cows and millions of other dogs. Since Kaiser has this canny ability to become like another animal he desires that day he became a: squirrel-cat-cow-rabbit dog. Mad talents.

Just... you know... the most gorgeous house in the world. :D

I love the paint on this house. :)

The girl in this pictures is my friend Shannon. She is my walking buddy! I like her a lot. :) I have been going on walks everyday for the past two weeks for two hours. Well, it is either biking or walking. Depends if my bike is working or not… if not then we walk. Kaiser likes it when we walk. Of course, because then we get to take him, since I have yet to figure out how to bike with him. Poor guy. He would have so much fun biking.

Me and My Kitty: A Contemporary

24 Jul

This is Tahlula. She is on my legs.

A Koala, Seahorse and an Ostrich.

24 Jul

This is Ostrich. One reason I love her . . . she wears prom dresses that were her cousin's she wears them randomly. It is awesome.

A Big shot of the dress. :)

These are my sisters. SeaHorse likes to pretend that Koala is a playground. :) (I changed their names. My mum and dad would never pick those names for their children. That's why I came up with them :)

Koala is holding my hand. She is awesome.

She was moving around while I was dancing . . . with her . . . and the camera. I love the blurryness. So . . . desirable.

Koala's dress is falling down, darling.

s Koala and I . . . I’m not that hot here. But I love this picture anyway. :)

Koala's coming to "get" me for taking pictures of her.

i love my sisters and i count them as blessings. they bring me happyness and make me laugh all the time.

Summer Closet

24 Jul

these are just some amazing pictures of people i found on the sartorialist website (www.sartorialist.com.) i would love to wear any of these outfits… i usually don’t like jeans, but i really like the holey ones. they look super comfortable. i probably wouldn’t style the jeans that way but it’s just interesting learning about what or how other people wear their clothes.

Mermaids or Whales?

20 Jul

Recently, in a large city in France, a poster featuring a young, thin and tan woman appeared in the window of a gym. It said, “This summer, do you want to be a mermaid or a whale?”

A middle-aged woman, whose physical characteristics did not match those of the woman on the poster, responded publicly to the question posed by the gym.

To Whom It May Concern,

Whales are always surrounded by friends (dolphins, sea lions, curious humans.)They have an active sex life, get pregnant and have adorable baby whales. They have a wonderful time with dolphins stuffing themselves with shrimp.

They play and swim in the seas, seeing wonderful places like Patagonia, the Bering Sea and the coral reefs of Polynesia .

Whales are wonderful singers and have even recorded CDs. They are incredible creatures and virtually have no predators other than humans. They are loved, protected and admired by almost everyone in the world.

Mermaids don’t exist.

If they did exist, they would be lining up outside the offices of Argentinean psychoanalysts due to identity crisis. Fish or human? They don’t have a sex life because they kill men who get close to them, not to mention how could they have sex? Just look at them … where is IT? Therefore, they don’t have kids either. Not to mention, who wants to get close to a girl who smells like a fish store?

The choice is perfectly clear to me: I want to be a whale.

P.S. We are in an age when media puts into our heads the idea that only skinny people are beautiful, but I prefer to enjoy an ice cream with my kids, a good dinner with a man who makes me shiver, and a piece of chocolate with my friends.

With time, we gain weight because we accumulate so much information and wisdom in our heads that when there is no more room, it distributes out to the rest of our bodies.

So we aren’t heavy, we are enormously cultured, educated and happy.

Beginning today, when I look at my butt in the mirror I will think, Good grief, look how smart I am!?

*Got this from an email letter, thought it was absolutely hilarious, and desired to share it with you. :)
